The World Cup is officially underway, and with it comes a wave of football-themed marketing campaigns. From social media activations to clever brand partnerships, it seems everyone is getting involved in the excitement.

One campaign that has particularly caught our attention is the recent initiative from Boots. In a brilliantly simple yet memorable move, they have quite literally sponsored the back of England defender Dan Burn’s neck to raise awareness of sun protection.
The campaign highlights a common mistake many of us make when applying sunscreen. While most people remember to protect their face, the back of the neck is often overlooked and left vulnerable to sun damage. Boots has used Dan Burn's recognisable name and position in the England squad to drive home the message with the clever slogan:
"Dan's got the back line covered. We've got the back of his neck covered."
It's a fantastic example of a campaign that feels relevant, timely and genuinely useful, while still capturing attention and sparking conversation.
With so many brands embracing football fever this summer, it's been fascinating to see the different creative approaches being taken.
What has been your favourite World Cup campaign so far? ⚽🏆
