Wind Chimes, Awards & Big Wins: My Key Lime Journey So Far

Three months into my role at Key Lime, and I’ve already gained so many valuable experiences. From hands-on events to developing new skills behind the scenes, it’s been an exciting start, here’s a look at what I’ve been up to.

I joined Key Lime back in mid-August, right in the middle of a buzzing summer events season and what a way to start! From helping children make wind chimes to getting stuck into dinosaur-themed events, it was clear from day one that my new role at Key Lime would be fun, hands-on, and full of creativity.

These events also gave me the ideal chance to get to know the center's we work with and meet the clients who make this job so exciting!

Alongside the events, I’ve had plenty of opportunities in the office to learn the ropes behind the scenes. I’ve gained a real appreciation for the planning and detail that goes into every campaign, from the very first idea to the final results. A standout moment so far has been supporting the organisation of the 2025 Community Awards at one of our centres. It has been incredibly rewarding to highlight local heroes who help make our communities so special, while continuing to develop my organisational skills along the way.

A definite highlight was attending the Sceptre Awards with the team! Experiencing a black-tie event was so much fun, and it gave me the chance to make real connections with our clients and other industry professionals, a great reminder of how people-focused and rewarding this industry truly is!

I’ve also loved getting out and about on tenant visits. Seeing how each business approaches its marketing has been a huge eye-opener it’s fascinating how different everyone's goals can be, and has therefore helped shape my understanding of how to tailor content to suit each client’s needs perfectly!

I’m really excited for what’s next to learn more, take on new challenges, and continue bringing fresh ideas to the incredible work Key Lime does. These first three months have flown by… and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds! Bring on Christmas! 💚
