The Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop ❤️

This weekend, I had the privilege of volunteering at the Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop and it’s something I’ll never forget. Having missed out on the initiative last year, I was so pleased to have the opportunity to experience working at the event this time around. I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of such a lovely initiative alongside the Key Lime team, and to see something the team has put so much effort into come to life in such a meaningful way.

The pop-up welcomed teenagers from across the region to browse and choose from a wide range of new and pre-loved prom outfits, completely free of charge. Over just two days, with the help of the amazing volunteers, we supported 130 young people, with some travelling from as far as Manchester to find their perfect outfit! Knowing that the initiative has now helped 350 young people over two years really highlights the positive impact it’s had on people’s lives and the determination Key Lime have to make young peoples prom dreams come true!

My favourite part was seeing young people walk out of the pop-up shop with an outfit they truly felt their best in. From the smiles to the confidence boosts, those moments were so special and it was incredibly rewarding to be part of something that helps make such an important milestone feel even more memorable! Overall, I feel incredibly proud to have played even a small part in this initiative. It’s a great example of what can be achieved when people come together to support one another, and it’s something I’ll always remember! 💛
