Key Lime PR & Marketing was proud to deliver the first ever Your Billericay Artisan Food & Drink Market on behalf of our client Your Billericay BID, working alongside Local Artisan Markets to bring a vibrant new community event to the High Street. 🙌✨
From initial planning through to event day delivery, our team managed the project from start to finish, including stallholder coordination, marketing, PR, social media management and on-the-day event operations, all with the shared goal of supporting Billericay businesses, increasing footfall and creating a positive atmosphere within the town centre.
The market welcomed a fantastic mix of artisan food, drink and independent traders, alongside live entertainment and community activity, helping attract visitors into Billericay throughout the day. Thankfully, the weather stayed on our side too, creating a brilliant atmosphere across the High Street from start to finish.
The impact on local businesses was clear to see, with many retailers and hospitality venues reporting increased trade and strong visitor numbers throughout the event.
Feedback included:
⭐ K Barbers Emporium / Koffee Club recorded a record day of sales
⭐ The Bottega doubled their usual takings
⭐ Ravens Bakery sold out of stock by 12pm
⭐ Maggio Lounge increased staffing due to the level of footfall
⭐ Multiple businesses reported welcoming new customers and increased visitors throughout the day
Alongside the strong business impact, the event also generated significant online engagement, with live coverage and event content across Facebook and Instagram, achieving close to 100,000 impressions, helping shine a spotlight on the fantastic businesses and community spirit within Billericay. 📲
The market also helped support an important local cause, with fundraising for Billericay Food Bank raising more than £400 through stallholder contributions and public donations on the day, alongside food donations and new charity sign-ups.
